Independent Consultant Buchanan Dam, Texas, USA [2005 to 2006]

On-site Supervisor Ordered equipment, tools, trucks and materials for projects with Northern Natural Gas, Unit Petroleum, Sempra, Conoco Phillips, and EnCana. Projects included wireline perforating, logging, setting production packers, performing bottom hole production surveys, running inflatable packers for production, acid stimulation, workovers, hot valve tapping, coil tubing, snubbing, changing out wellheads and fishing work.

Attended HSE orientation before beginning each project. Required to orientate all contractors on the company’s HSE policies and ensure compliance with these policies. Completed all job paper work.  Held and documented tail gate safety meetings and coordinated daily activities.

Downhole Fluidics, Inc. Midland, Texas, USA [2002 to 2005]

On-Site Supervisor Sales of perforation and open hole wash tools. Performed well bore stimulation using PerfClean tools on tubing strings and coiled tubing in Texas, Iowa and California.

Weatherford Completion Systems Bridgeport, Texas, USA [2001 to 2002]

Sales and Service–Completion Tools Completion work using downhole tools. Work performed in the Barnett Shale formation.  Coordinated work between company personnel and Weatherford. Required to have HSE training for Weatherford, Mitchell Energy and Devon Resources.

Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation Seagraves, Texas, USA [1999 to 2001]

Field Unit Supervisor Plotted fields with GPS, downloaded information and satisfied farmers concerns relating to spraying of fields. Ensured all field employees and crop dusters were certified for pesticide applications and complied with environmental, safety and health policies of the Foundation.

Baker Oil Tools Denver City, Texas, USA [1980 to 1998]

Assistant Manager–District Sales and Service Supervised nine field and two shop employees. Primary customer was Shell Oil Company. Liaison between Baker and Shell Oil Company for 10 years. Worked with engineers setting up completion and workover projects pertaining to cementing, acidizing, fracturing, drilling, production testing, casing testing, drilling and under reaming for new well bores. Implemented water flood and CO2 flood for the Shell Denver Unit and all surrounding units. 

Performed work in the Shell Denver Unit, North Wasson Unit, South Wasson unit, Bennett Ranch and Ownby Unit. Handled all troubleshooting situations.  Estimated costs, and priced jobs and submitted formal bids. Designed and built fluid control valve for information on non-performing tools to engineering staff as well as provided information on metal fatigue and erosion. Was on the Safety Alliance team for Shell for two years. Held and documented HSE meetings monthly as well as tail gate safety meetings every morning while on a job.  Reviewed JSA’s for every job.
