Oil and Gas Division CEO  International petroleum products and services company.  Worldwide presence supporting customer needs from the upstream to downstream business. Oil trading, refineries implementation, power generation deployment and global industrial plant implementation.

General Electric, Inc. Houston, Texas, USA [2006 to 2009]

Business Leader    Performed the due diligence and acquisition of a newly created business from AREVA in France. This unit was in charge of sales, marketing, engineering, design and implementation of pipeline monitoring system worldwide. The local systems were connected via satellite to the two 24/7 RM&D remote monitoring and diagnostic centers (one in Houston and one in Italy). This detection system has been specifically developed to provide pipeline operators the means to reliably determine on time where their pipeline has  third party or leak detection. In this context, he was responsible for several technical and operational teams located in different countries around the world: Germany, Hungary, United States, Canada, France and England.

General Electric, Inc. Houston, Texas, USA [2004 to 2006]

Global Operations Manager for the Pipeline Integrity Services Business   Managed four global entities: Risk & Integrity Management Team, GIS & Data Management Team, Infield Services Team, and Direct Assessment/Unpiggable Team. The Data Management Team was newly acquired from MJ Harden in Kansas City. These teams were in charge of the sales, research, development and design of the product (hardware and software) up to implementation at the customer location.

Global Business Manager for the Total Pipeline Integrity Business   Defined and created three new businesses: Pipeline Engineering, Risk and Infield Services Teams. This role included leading M&A transactions, creation of strategic alliances, business restructuring initiatives and strategic market expansion for the three business unit.

General Electric, Inc. Greenville, South Carolina, USA [2001 to 2003]

DFSS 6 Sigma Black Belt  Managed the integration of the US and European technical teams, by working boundary less and sharing good practices. . Managed global technical projects using the DFSS methodology (Design For Six Sigma) increasing the reliability and availability of components and systems.

General Electric, Inc. Belfort, France, [1997 to 2001]

Global Technical Departments Manager  Appointed head of a team of about 250 people in several countries: France, UK, Germany, Mexico and India. Managed the entire GE power systems engineering teams in Europe.  Developed high performing and motivated teams. Developed the new 6bev, 9ev and 9 FA DLE Gas Turbines.  Developed the control systems for combined cycle and classical power plant. Reduced the requisition cycle and increased the power efficiencies.

Steam Turbines Control Department Manager  Lead the engineering, design, manufacturing, sourcing, projects, and implementation teams of Steam Turbine Control Units worldwide (England, Belgium, Holland, Thailand, India, Morocco). More than 300 units were developed and installed. Supported the field services team during the start up phase.

Field Services Engineer  Dealt with the commissioning of power plants, gas, steam turbines, combined cycles and this in several countries: China, Thailand, Great Britain, Belgium, Holland, UK, India. Combined cycles ranged from 100 MW to 250 MW, gas turbine from 33 MW to 120 MW, steam turbines from 250 MW to 1,500 MW. Commissioning also included training of customers at different levels (Manager and Maintenance) on the different systems.

Peugeot, SA. Belchamp, France, [1990 to 1991]

Research Engineer  Developed new coatings based on chrome deposit at high temperature increasing hardness and removing potential corrosion growth. This coating is largely used on the distribution chain of trucks.
